Orange wheat crackers


Ingredients

• 200 gr. whole wheat flour
• 70 gr. bran flakes
• 2 teaspoons yeast
• The skin of an orange, finely grated
• a pinch of salt
• 60 gr. margarine
• 70 gr. mashed potato
• liquid sweetener
• 1 egg
• 3 tablespoons orange juice
• 1 teaspoon margarine


Development


Preheat oven to 180 ยบ C above. Combine flour, bran, yeast, orange zest and salt. Pour the margarine into small pieces and knead the dough until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add the sweetener to the mashed potatoes and add all to the mix. Beat all together with egg and orange juice until a firm dough. Roll on a floured board until a thin crust cut into circles or squares of 5 cm. approx. Put on greased baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until crisp but not toast.
